This group also got into the spirit of Mardi Gras with colorful decorations and masks. They first feasted on a Tapenade appetizer w/bread, Black Bean Salsa w/chips and Hurricane cocktails. Next they had Shrimp Creole, Louisiana Rice, Mardi Gras Slaw, String Beans w/bacon, Gougeres and sautéed Green & Yellow Peppers. Somehow they still had room for Beignets, King Cake & Bananas Fosters w/ice cream! Additional beverages included red & white wine plus port.

A festive group donned masks and beads to celebrate Mardi Gras a day early. We started with hurricane drinks at the patio bar. Appetizers were Andouille Sausage Bites w/a spicy dipping sauce and a hot Muffaletta Dip w/crackers and colorful veggies (purple carrots, green celery & yellow peppers). The main course was a delicious Shrimp Étouffée accompanied by red beans & rice. After dinner we enjoyed our decadent Bread Pudding with Bourbon Sauce around the fire pit. An additional indulgence was Vieux Carré cocktails to finish off the evening. Laissez le bon temps rouler!

This was one of the first groups to celebrate Mardi Gras this month. They enjoyed andouille sausage & cheese as an appetizer, then a main course of jambalaya accompanied by crepe-wrapped asparagus with cheese. They ended the night with a croissant bread pudding and praline sauce.
